Fortune 500 Insurance Company, Residential property located in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey. Due to an Above Ground Storage Take (AST) discharge of #2 heating oil product at the residential Project, Entech performed emergency Environmental Remediation Services.  This Scope of Work included Professional Environmental Services to perform the following: an initial site investigation, performance of initial preliminary soil borings and soil sampling, installation and removal of temporary well points and groundwater collection and sampling.  The installation of groundwater collection structures an "cut off" trenches to inter collect, pump and store petroleum contaminated groundwater from discharging to a local storm water collection system. Entech also installed a temporary air venting system within the residential structure to minimize petroleum odors within a crawl space area. Entech also properly stored and disposed of non-hazardous liquids collected from the emergency "contaminated groundwater recovery / pump system."  Entech is currently in the process of designing a groundwater pump and treat system, as well evaluating available options for proper remediation of petroleum based product. Upon receipt to the Permit by Rule, Entech will install, operate and maintain the system.
