Our History
In 1991, the civil engineering firm at which professional engineers John Ragan and Tom Furey worked announced it was closing. Sharing an entrepreneurial spirit, they saw this as an opportunity to start their own company and offer more of a well-rounded menu of environmental and engineering services. They formed The Entech Group, Inc., and began conducting environmental investigations for clients in addition to civil engineering and construction projects.
As The Entech Group grew in expertise and reputation, it began to offer an expanded range of remediation, engineering and construction services. The company is unique in that it is expert at both the “thinking” – the project planning and engineering – and the “doing” – the remediation and construction. Balancing these two concepts enables Entech to provide its clients with a one source, start to finish solution.
