Major Manufacturing Company, located in Bergen County, New Jersey. The Scope of Work consisted of assisting the Owner and Owner's Representatives with performing Professional Environmental, Site Engineering, and Construction related professional services. Environmental Services for this project to included the Removal and Abandonment of two (2) UST Systems to include the abandonment of one (1) 20,000 gallon Underground Storage Tank (UST) and the removal of one (1) 20,000 gallon UST; the performance of soil boring installations and soil sampling procedures. Additional Environmental Remedial activities included; the excavation, transportation and disposal of approximately seventy - five (75) tons of non-hazardous contaminated soils; removal, transportation and disposal of approximately 5,000 gallons of hazardous & non-hazardous liquids; proper removal / abandonment of existing underground piping; proper transportation and disposal of ten (10) 55 gallon drums; the preparation of Preliminary Assessments, Site Investigation, Remedial Investigation and Remedial Action Work Plans and Reports. Prepared the Preliminary Major Site Engineering Plans and details for submission and approval from local planning board approval, as well as New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection major Stream Encroachment approval, performed preliminary soil boring testing and reporting, designed and installed a reinforced concrete slab, designed and installed two Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST's) with capacities of 12,000 and 8,000 gallons, designed and installed associated piping and appurtenances, restoration of guide rail, pavement and concrete areas The Entech Group, Inc. is the design-build contractor for this Project.
